Ways to Prevent Getting Sick During the Pandemic

stop virus

Greetings, everyone. We hope that you are staying safe during this COVID-19 pandemic. We are taking the necessary steps to protect ourselves and others while providing home care in Augusta, Georgia. Based on the CDC’s recommendations, here are a few tips to stay safe during the COVID-19 outbreak:

Practice Good Hand Hygiene.

Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially if you have been in public or after coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose. Use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol if you do not have access to soap and water. Avoid touching your face.

Maintain Social/Physical Distancing.

Stay home as much as you can. Avoid sick contacts. Maintain a 6-ft distance with other people when you have to go out.

Use Face Masks.

Since COVID-19 can be spread when people have no symptoms, everyone must wear some type of face-covering when out in public. The CDC has recommended wearing cloth face masks/coverings. Please continue to keep a 6-feet distance between yourself and others.
